Path of Exile is a Diablo-inspired online role-playing game where players constantly battle hordes of monsters. Path of Exile stands out for its complete independence from donations, deepest hero development system, and simply a giant talent tree.

In this game, you'll be constantly destroying crowds of enemies, but it's not boring. In POE there are so much different builds for your character, that you can research and improve them almost endlessly.

There are 7 heroes to choose from in Path of Exile. And these are not professions, but exactly the ready heroes, that can not be changed sex or appearance. According to the plot these guys were exiled to the dark continent of Relcast, where they are now forced to survive and fight off hordes of evil spirits.

For destroying monsters and completing quests, the hero increases his level. There are a total of 100 levels. With each new level, the player gets characteristic points, which can be spent to enhance certain parameters of the character. These parameters depend on what equipment the hero can wear.

It's common to all classes, but each hero starts from a different point on this tree. The passive talent tree has a total of about 1,500 options, which can take you months to fully explore. With such a deep development system, players can create unimaginable combinations of talents and destroy crowds of enemies in the blink of an eye.

Path of Exile features a complex and hardcore crafting system, which here forms the basis of the economy. Interestingly, there are no currencies as such in the game. It is the raw materials for crafting and improvements that serve as the money here.

At the very beginning, your hero will appear on the seashore, where he will be quickly introduced and taught how to handle weapons. After a few beating monsters, the player will get to the initial location, where he can take his first tasks. That's where his journey as an adventurer will begin.

The game world in POE is divided into locations, between which there is a transition through the loading screen. In some locations, there is a portal that must be found and activated. After that, you will be able to move to it instantly, which will speed up the passage.

Maps is a game mode that becomes available in the later stages. The idea is that if you have a certain map, you can pass it and get a lot of rewards. Maps come in different levels of difficulty, so it's always fun to pass them.

In addition, Path of Exile has quarterly leagues, daily races, maze races, and PVP battles. The best players are rewarded with very valuable items.

Conclusion

POE has a story, additional quests, plenty of locations to explore, and bosses to destroy. The developers position the game as "Made by the players for the players". At the same time, it is completely independent of donation. There are no premium accounts, no boosters, or anything like that. Path of Exile is worth playing for all fans of Action MMORPG because there is no better game in this genre.
