Eternal Essence is an online collectible card strategy game where players assemble decks of dozens of different cards and fight each other in ranked matches. The game was developed by enthusiastic gamers who sought to create the perfect card strategy game. Their organization is signed on Steam as Blur Entertainment Inc.

What sets Eternal Essence apart from other CCIs is its elaborate combat system and detailed map balance. The game is currently in Early Access. It was added to Steam on November 14, 2019. Now anyone can play it for free.

One day three ambitious gamers decided to create the perfect online card game. So in 2019, Eternal Essence was released. The developers seriously worked on the balance. Moreover, Eternal Essence is designed in such a way that the outcome of each battle depends on strategy, not luck, as in other similar games.

At the very beginning, the player will have to go through a tutorial where he will get acquainted with all the subtleties of the gameplay. After that, you can choose your model. There are several modes, including single-player Unranked and Ranked.

In single-player mode, your opponent will be a complex AI on which you can practice and test your decks. Victories are rewarded with sets of cards.

In ranked mode, you play against other players who will be much harder to beat. Each player takes his side of the table. Both have a hero with a certain amount of health. The enemy hero must be killed to win. At the start of the match, both players take 6 cards from their decks. Decks in Eternal Essence can be pre-designed to your liking. Next, players take turns turning. Turns are time-limited, and there is a special button to the right to end a turn early. With each turn, the player takes an additional card from the deck.

The cards in Eternal Essence are creatures, which can be of 4 types. Everyone will find cards here to suit their playing style: control, defense, attack, reproduction, and more. To summon a creature, the card must be placed on the table. Calling spends mana, the stock of which is strictly limited. You can also spend mana to draw an extra card from the deck.

Each card in Eternal Essence has an attack (left), defense (right), and summon cost (bottom). The card also has a description that outlines its playability. When you place a creature on the table, you can order it to attack another creature or the opponent's hero. You fight until one of the heroes dies, or until both players run out of cards.

Conclusion

According to the developers themselves, they want to give the player creative freedom, so Eternal Essence does not depend on donations at all. For the game, you'll get a lot of kits with cards for all occasions. There are also daily and weekly bonuses. But do not forget that the game is still in early access, so here and there will occasionally encounter bugs. It is better to inform the developers about them immediately.
