Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog has declared that the studio won't always be exclusively linked with "The Last of Us" series. Highly recognized for their work, Naughty Dog seems to have recently concentrated all efforts on "The Last of Us" and "Uncharted" series. Since 2013, the studio launched "The Last of Us," "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," "The Last of Us: Part II," and numerous remasters and remakes within these franchises, alongside a "The Last of Us" TV adaptation and an "Uncharted" film.
While there's no clear insight into what the developer's upcoming project might be, with speculations about "The Last of Us: Part III" and anticipation for a second season of "The Last of Us," concerns have arisen that Naughty Dog might solely focus on "TLOU" projects. However, Neil Druckmann, the studio's head and creative director, reassured in an interview with the LA Times (a genuine dialogue, distinct from any fictional presentations by Sony), asserting, "I assure you, our identity as 'The Last of Us' studio is not permanent."
Druckmann further revealed that the studio is currently working on "numerous single-player ventures," which will share a common philosophical foundation to guide and unify the projects. What are your expectations or hopes for Naughty Dog's future ventures?
